TableSparks becomes ChariTime!
After much consideration and numerous surveys and polls (thank you to all those who have provided their feedback over the past few weeks!!), we finally found an awesome new name for our platform: ChariTime = Charity + Time. We hope you love the new name as much as we do!! :-)

We had a blast at #NYCSW!! :-)
The NYC Startup Weekend is over and it was a tremendous experience for us and TableSparks. We’ve come along way over the course of the 54 hrs (and 5.5 hrs of sleep) and look forward to taking the MVP to the next level over the next weeks!!
Congrats to Tagify.us, InBed.me and BrandPulsar on 1st through 3rd spots out of 20!!
Other personal favorites include:
- Beards for Breasts - a cure for breast cancer, one beard at a time - think Movember raising funds and awareness for breast cancer instead of men’s health
- MenuReel - like Foodspotting, but the restaurant is in charge of uploading pix for entire menus - yum!
- Selfey - app that lets you skip to the front of the line for a fee
- Renthackr - app bringing transparency to apt rental pricing and expected market availability
- eFlirt Engine - recommends dating sites based on info about you and what you are looking for
These made us laugh. hard:
- Show Me the Love - your significant other rates what you do for them, giving you insight on what is most meaningful to them
- AdSlapit.com - product placement for everyone in one’s own pictures
- LebronHate.com - t-shirt site selling Lebron hater gear

Last night, we pitched TableSparks idea at NYC Startup Weekend, and our pitch placed 7th out of the top 20 ideas voted to participate in the 54-hour intense program (out of 100 pitches). We are really excited to bring our idea to reality to enable anyone to raise money for charity while getting access to those that matter, and hope to demo an awesome product for you on Sunday night!!!
